Dj's apartment was not great. It was not clean - there was trash left from whoever stayed there last, there were molding tomatoes in the fridge (along with other old food), the dishwasher was full of shot glasses that were not cleaned up, and there were wash cloths that were clearly used in the shower. The beds had no bed sheets - just a fitted sheet and a very thin blanket. We actually had to bring in sheets from my sister-in-law since there were none to be found in the apartment! There were also just weird things in the apartment - like sequins on the floor that should have been cleaned up, and overall the place was not very clean. There was so much dust on the window that when I tried to open it, it was all over me. The apartment building is a little strange, it smelled a lot like weed and there were people loitering outside the building every night and it was quite loud. It did not feel like a particularly safe neighborhood.
