We stayed a few days to train at Crossfit Rethymno, and Manos place was an easy, ~20 walk (less on the bikes) and we would absolutely recommend this place for anyone who wants to train there

Manos' apartment was wonderful--just as described, clean, and conveniently located. Street parking is tricky, but not impossible. Our friends were greeted with fresh fruit, water (I think) and raki when they arrived. There are several bakeries, groceries, restau, and souvenir shops nearby, and of course the beach! We had all the linens we needed, including beach towels (although we didn't use those or the bikes). We were extremely happy with the accommodations and Manos' hospitality. My husband and I were traveling with another couple--all in our mid-40s.

Good location of the house close to beach, however there is a new house build attached to this one which isn’t on the pictures, few nights we didn’t sleep till 2-30am as was party and lots of other strange noises right behind bedroom wall, also there is a big dog which is loose all night directly under bedroom balcony which is also very noisy barking most of night, except of those things rest of stay was ok, parking can be problematic as house is at crossroads but you can find space after driving around for few minutes,

Το σπίτι ήταν ευρύχωρο, καθαρό και άνετο, ιδανικό για οικογένεια. Βρίσκεται σε εξαιρετική τοποθεσία, μόλις λίγα μέτρα από την παραλία του Ρεθύμνου και πολύ κοντά σε πλατεία με παιδική χαρά, ενώ δίπλα υπάρχει ξενοδοχείο με pool bar για κοκτέιλ το βράδυ. Στον επόμενο δρόμο θα βρείτε πολλές καλές ταβέρνες, ενώ σε απόσταση 400 μ. ξεκινά ο παραλιακός δρόμος με μεγαλο πεζοδρόμιο και ποδηλατόδρομο, ιδανικός για βραδινές βόλτες μέχρι την παλιά πόλη (3,5 χλμ). Ακριβώς από πάνω υπάρχουν 2 σούπερ μάρκετ για ό,τι χρειαστείτε. ο ιδιοκτήτης άμεσα διαθέσιμος οποτε τον χρειαστηκαμε.
Το μόνο μειονέκτημα ήταν οι πολύ στενοί δρόμοι της γειτονιάς και η σχετική δυσκολία στο πάρκινγκ. Παρ’ όλα αυτά, το συνολικό πακέτο αξίζει και θα το προτιμούσαμε ξανά!
