Blue Hill's New Surry Theatre's mission is to inspire, entertain and engage the community through live theatrical productions and theater arts education. Their 2016-2017 season will mark ten years in the Blue Hill Town Hall Theater, 18 Union Street, Blue Hill. Four or five plays are produced year-round...with afternoon and evening matinees, starting at 3 pm and 7 pm on select days, many of them occcuring during June, July and August. There are stage performances, live readings and acting classes for adults and children. This is a very active organization that has been vastly supported by local resident volunteers and also visiting actors from all over the country.
